On November 26th, the Insight mission celebrated the first anniversary of the landing of its Martian module. Co-created by the CNES, NASA and the DLR, its main goal is to study the inner structure of the red planet.

After a year and a half orbiting around Ryugu, the Hayabusa-2 probe initiated its return to earth. The latter should arrive by the end of 2020 with some Ryugu asteroid dust samples aboard.
On 19 July, 19th, 2019, the Chinese space station Tiangong-2 initiated its atmospheric re-entry heading right into the Pacific Ocean. The latter carries Cardiospace and a set of electronics co-developed by CNES and EREMS.
After two years of launching the new satellites from Thales Alenia Space, the Iridium NEXT constellation is finally operational. The latter does not require ground control and is supporting the Iridium CloudConnect service intended as an answer to the connected future.

BepiColombo was launched from Kourou by Ariane 5 on October 20, 2018 aiming Mercury, the nearest planet to the sun. The two probes will separate and insert in orbit around Mercury in 2025.

The Microscope satellite, launched in April 2016, has been correctly de-orbited on 16 October using a new system, IDEAS triggered by the BTCU-PS that EREMS has designed and developed for the CNES (delivered in December 2014).

Telecommunication satellite SES-10 has left Airbus Defence and Space cleanrooms in Toulouse and has been transfered to Cape Canaveral. This satellite embarks several electronic equipments made by EREMS and will soon be launched by Space X.

Four month after the explosion of its Falcon 9, SpaceX resumed its flights successfully on January 14th. This recovery corresponds to the launch of a first cluster of 10 satellites of the future next-generation Iridium Next constellation. This launch took away the first electronic assemblies designed and manufactured by EREMS for the SAFT batteries of the 81 Iridium-Next satellites.
